How a 2005 Fraud Case Inspired Integrity Verify Africa Solutions

 

In 2005–2006, long before Integrity Verify Africa Solutions (IVAS) was founded, a single event changed everything for me. It revealed how deception travels across borders and how one act of discernment can protect a life, a reputation, and a destiny.

 

A close friend of mine, Amy Lewis, who lived in Louisiana, New Jersey, reached out to me with great excitement. She had just received what looked like a promising business proposal from an organization claiming to be The Central Bank of Nigeria. The proposal sounded legitimate; it came with official looking documents, seals, and even direct contact phone numbers.

 

Amy’s intention was pure. She wanted to help me benefit from the business deal if it turned out successful. She sent me the documents for review, trusting my insight as her friend and spiritual guide.

 

As I examined the materials, something in my spirit urged me to verify the authenticity of the information. So, I picked up the phone and called the numbers listed in the document. To my surprise, someone actually answered but the address and communication didn’t align with the official Central Bank’s structure. After deeper checks, I realized the entire operation was a fraudulent setup designed to deceive unsuspecting individuals overseas.

 

I immediately informed Amy, warning her not to send any money or share her financial details. When she confirmed my findings, she was deeply grateful. Out of appreciation, she went on Facebook and publicly posted that everyone should “listen to Peter, because he is a true leader who sees beyond the surface.”

 

However, not long after, Amy’s husband who had previously suffered unpleasant experiences with dishonest individuals discouraged her from further contact. That chapter of communication ended, but something greater began.

 

That experience opened my eyes to a simple truth: the world is full of deception, but also full of people seeking truth. Many well-meaning individuals and organizations are at risk simply because they lack access to trustworthy verification services.

 

That moment marked the birth of a vision one that years later became Integrity Verify Africa Solutions (IVAS): a company dedicated to truth, transparency, and protection for individuals, couples, and corporations across Africa and beyond.
